No-vote on the sale of Ken Adams Park
In a few days, registered Lompoc voters will be presented with a choice to vote in favor or against favoring Measure R2024. This measure is to sell Ken Adams Park. The primary constituent to desire a favorable vote for this measure is Pale Blue Dot Ventures, Inc. who is not mentioned in the measure.
I have to ask if this is a land grab?
The park for sale is 82 acres right next to PCH Highway 1. My guess is that this park is worth tens of millions of dollars as is. The proposed development appears to me to require many more tens of millions of dollars…
