This heartfelt gesture was in recognition of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, an annual observance that honors those impacted by miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant death, including SIDS and ectopic pregnancies.

Behind this powerful moment is Alisha Neal, a Wareham resident and founder of Angel Babies, a local non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families through their darkest days. Neal, who has experienced such loss herself, created Angel Babies to provide compassion, love, and guidance to families who are grieving.

When Neal saw the opportunity to have Gillette Stadium participate in this national day of remembrance, she applied via the stadium’s website, requesting that the iconic Gillette Stadium lighthouse and surrounding areas be lit in pink and blue, the symbolic colors of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness.
