JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. — Nine candidates are vying for three seats on Johnson City’s commission. News 5 is introducing you to the candidates in a series of reports this week.
Greg Cox is a real estate agent who has served on a variety of city boards including six years on the planning commission. He said he’s passionate about downtown revitalization and the future of the John Sevier Center.
“I really want to make sure as population grows, we figure out how to do it wisely and also keep the culture that Johnson City has that makes it so special,” Cox said. “As people move here, I really want to make sure our culture blends to them.”…
