Audrey Jacobus Taeubner, 95, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on 10/22/2024 at Hillcrest Healthcare, Ashland City, TN.
Born 6/17/1929 in Lewistown IL, Audrey was an esteemed rental manager for many years in both Pekin, IL and around the Capital District of NY. She was admired for her personable nature, work ethic, organizational skills, and artistic eye, which transformed spaces into picturesque havens.
As the youngest and last remaining of the 13 children of Earl and Mabel (Gardner) Jacobus, she was proudly raised on a farm in Central Illinois and loved to tell stories about family life as she grew up. Audrey learned early on the values of resilience and family, which she carried throughout her life.
