MOGADORE, Ohio (WKBN) – An Akron man is in the Portage County Jail after the Ohio State Highway Patrol followed him in a chase from Mahoning County to Portage County Wednesday afternoon.
OSHP said the driver, Larry A. Finch, 41, was booked into the Portage County Jail on charges of felony failure to comply/fleeing.
The chase began in Palmyra Township shortly before 3 p.m. when troopers tried to pull him over for a speeding violation on Interstate 80 westbound. Troopers said after Finch didn’t stop, the chase continued westbound on Interstate 80 and Interstate 76. The pursuit was then terminated due to unsafe conditions…
