Pearl L. Besecker, 95, a lifetime McPherson County resident, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, surrounded by family at Pleasant View Home, Inman. She was a homemaker and also worked as a waitress and a factory worker.

Pearl was born on January 30, 1929, at her home near Lehigh, KS, the daughter of David and Mary Elizabeth (Schneider) Winter. She attended a country grade school near Lehigh and graduated from Galva High School.

Pearl was united in marriage to William Albert “Bud” Besecker on June 17, 1948, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in McPherson. Pearl and Bud spent their entire married life in McPherson County, living in towns of Roxbury, Canton, Windom, and McPherson. They were married for 65 years prior to his passing on April 15, 2014…
