Kempner, Tx ( FOX 44 ) – UPDATE: Repair crews report repairs to a leaking water main near Kempner have been complete, and the conservation order for Lampasas has been lifted. Residents may resume normal water usage.
The City of Lampasas advised crews were able to restore water to the City during the overnight hours. During this process, air was introduced into the water lines. The water will look milky, and you will experience noise from your plumbing. The statement said to help remove large pockets of air in your home, open each faucet very slowly and allow to run for a few seconds starting with the outside spigots working your way to the highest point, most commonly a shower head.
