The massive campground renovation at Noccalula Falls Park and Campground is heading into the home stretch, and the Gadsden City Council took a step on Oct. 22 toward “powering it up.”
Council members approved the granting of an easement to Alabama Power Co. to establish the electrical infrastructure at the campground.
“This is just the standard easement you’ve seen before,” Heath Williamson, the city’s director of engineering, told members during the council’s work session. “It sets up the long-term service to the campground as we finish renovations.”…
