TIOGA — The Williamson Warrior (11-6-2) 2024 soccer season came to a close in the first round of the District 4 Class AA Playoffs as they fell 2-1 in a defensive battle at home to the Loyalsock Lancers (10-5-4).
The contest was the first home playoff game for the Warriors in over 20 years, and Williamson would give the Lancers all they could handle throughout the night.
Loyalsock and Williamson traded early goals in the first half, with Braeden Colwell connecting on a goal early in the first half, but the Lancers would put the clamps down on defense and not allow another goal for the remainder of the night…
