Nita Beth Gross, of Gettysburg, died peacefully at home October 23, 2024, at the age of 70. Nita will be remembered for her warmth, generosity and love for family, friends, colleagues and all who knew her.
Born March 25, 1954, in Red Lion, Pa., she grew up mainly in Walkersville, Md., and was the daughter of the late Richard and Betty (Curran) Winn. Nita was the devoted wife of Douglas Gross of Gettysburg, with whom he shared 50 wonderful years.
