Daniel Robert Norris, 74, a resident of North Fort Myers, FL since 2017, formerly of Stanhope, IA and Cape Coral, FL, passed away Friday, September 13, 2024 in Fort Myers, FL. He was born August 14, 1950 in Ames, IA to Leonard and Harriet Norris, now deceased.
Daniel was of the Christian faith. Dan graduated from South Hamilton High Schools in 1968 and entered Army military service shortly after. He served in Vietnam and Germany. Upon discharge he began his lifelong career as an over the road truck driver. Dan was proud of his military service and was a lifelong member of the VFW as well as Veterans of the Glen.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Janet Norris of North Fort Myers; son, Jeremy Norris of Pomeroy, IA; sister, Patti Jo of Des Moine, IA; as well as grandchildren, Joshua Norris and Madilynn Worthen…
