Carpenter posted a photo of her with Mickey to her Instagram story. Disney Parks re-shared the picture, which was taken at Mickey’s Town Square Theater meet and greet, so the mouse was dressed in his magician’s outfit. Both looked excited to meet the fellow icon. A PhotoPass Cast Member commented that Carpenter had the photo printed to take home.
Carpenter visited Walt Disney World before her October 24 show at the Kia Center in Orlando, FL. The singer’s breakout acting role was as Maya Hart in the Disney Channel series “Girl Meets World” (2014-2017). Around the same time, she signed a deal with Disney-owned Hollywood Records. She released her debut single, “Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying,” in 2014.
