A new Downtown Cedar Rapids bar offers a karaoke experience unlike any other in the area! Welcome to Studio 6 Karaoke Bar!
Studio 6 is located at 203 1st Ave SE in Downtown Cedar Rapids, which is across the street from the Alliant Energy Powerhouse. It was formerly the home of SKO Tavern & Tacos.
Studio 6’s website says that they are “revolutionizing the karaoke experience by elevating performance to unprecedented heights.” The bar has studio-like booths for singing, which are “crafted to give you the privacy you want, with the excitement of performing in front of friends.” In addition to karaoke, Studio 6 also offers in-person cocktail classes, which you can sign up for HERE.
As far as food and drinks go, Studio 6 has a menu of specialty drinks, as well as a small snack menu. Items include Buffalo chicken eggrolls, sliders, wings, fries, flatbreads, mini donuts, chips & salsa, a brisket sandwich, jerk chicken on pita, and apple pie eggrolls.
Studio 6 Karaoke Bar will hold its grand opening tonight (October 25th) beginning at 7 p.m. They are also set to host a Halloween party on Saturday, October 26th from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. The party will include signature Halloween beverages, a costume contest, and, of course, all-night karaoke!
