Nevada Zero Coalition Commits $1,500 in Free Lyft Ride Credits for Halloween

LAS VEGAS (October 24, 2024) – As part of the Nevada Zero Fatalities Program’s ongoing commitment to combat impaired driving and keep the state’s roadways safe, the Zero Coalition has pledged $1,500 towards access to discounted Lyft rides in Las Vegas and Reno this Halloween, October 26 to November 3.

“Since September of this year, Nevada’s roadways have already seen 263 roadway fatalities. Numbers have shown that 44% of fatal crashes in the state are attributed to impaired driving, and that is unacceptable,” said Zero Fatalities Program Manager, Anita Pepper. “As Nevadans, it is all of our responsibility to drive safe all the time, not just for the holidays. Whether it’s alcohol, cannabis or prescription drugs, driving under the influence of anything that alters your state of mind is impaired driving. The Zero Coalition implores everyone to always drive sober and ride smart when celebrating, because lives are on the line.”

Starting at 8 p.m. on October 26 to 4 a.m. on November 3, the Zero Coalition will offer $5 off one Lyft ride to the first 300 new and existing users. The exclusive offer can be accessed within the Lyft mobile app with code ZFOCT24, while supplies last…
