Wallace, CA became the focal point of a drug bust following a routine traffic stop conducted by the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office that escalated into an arrest for narcotics possession. According to a statement from the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office, the stop took place near Highway 12 and Wards Avenue involving 42-year-old Chad Nathaniel Hixson of Lodi, who was discovered to be in breach of probation terms.
During the late-night stop on Sunday, the sergeant and his canine partner, Deputy Titan, approached Hixson’s vehicle, and after confirming he was not abiding by his driving restrictions, the sergeant began a search.
