WELLESLEY, Mass. – The Bowdoin College volleyball team held off a late rally to defeat Wellesley 3-2 in a non-conference match on Friday evening. The Polar Bears improve to 11-7 while the Blue fall to 8-8. Match Highlights
- Bowdoin earned the win by set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 16-25, 15-25, 15-8.
- After taking the first two sets, Wellesley battled back to force a deciding fifth.
- The Polar Bears took command early in the fifth, scoring the first five points to jump ahead.
- Bowdoin extended its lead to 11-4 and, after Wellesley trimmed the lead to 13-8, scored the final two points to win it, ending on a service ace from Cameron Shelly.
