A longstanding Memphis barbecue chain is set to open another location in Mississippi .
According to The Daily Corinthian , Corinth ’s building and codes department last week issued a remodeling permit for Tops Bar-B-Q . The new eatery will occupy the former site of Popeyes at 1202 S Cass St , at the corner of U.S. Highway 72.
This positive development comes on the heels of a recent fire at Tops’ Midtown location . Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident; however, that site remains closed indefinitely as damage is assessed and repairs are made…
