Mizzou quarterback Brady Cook expected to play against Alabama

After being doubtful to play all week, Mizzou’s senior quarterback Brady Cook is set to give it a go on Saturday against Alabama.

Cook sustained his injury last week after being taken down by a “hip drop” tackle. He was removed from the game during Mizzou’s first possession but returned just before the fourth quarter, ultimately leading the Tigers to a 21-17 comeback victory over Auburn.

His leadership is essential to the Tigers, and if they’re going to win tomorrow, it will require a valiant effort from Cook.
