3 Year-Old Loses Fingers in Escalator at Houston Area HEB

A $ ! million lawsuit has been against Texas giant H-E-B and TK Elevator Corporation after a 3-year-old lost four fingers in an escalator incident at an H-E-B in Harris County. My San Antonio reports that the incident took place on March 30, 2024, at the H-E-B store in Bellaire, Texas

The lawsuit alleges 3-year-old was shopping with her parents at the store when her right hand became trapped by a “dangerously” wide gap between the escalator steps and the skirt. Her hand became wedged, resulting in the amputation of her fingers.
