Montana’s lieutenant governor candidate attacks Gianforte over property taxes

GLENDIVE, Mont. (KUMV) – Democratic governors were in control of Montana for 16 years prior to Greg Gianforte winning in 2020. Gianforte is seeking another four years for the Republicans, but Democrats are pushing for change.

Ryan Busse is running for the position with his Lt. Governor, Raph Graybill. Speaking in Glendive this week, Graybill accused Gianforte of raising property taxes and creating hardships for low-income families.

“Greg Gianforte raises property taxes on Montana homeowners by as much as 111 percent. The best advertising for the Busse-Graybill campaign that’s ever occurred is the government sending out tax bills to folks,” said Graybill…
