Oregon Student Association shuts down after 49 years

EUGENE, Ore. – The non-profit Oregon Student Association shut down in October 2024 after years of struggling with organizational and financial issues.

Originally started in 1975 as a way to unite students across the entire state of Oregon to fight for better accessibility and fairness for higher education, the association is no longer able to cover the costs of its own operation.
