BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – The weekend looks pretty good, except for a few blips here and there. An isolated shower is possible this morning as a cold front comes through. Otherwise, it will be partly sunny with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s. This early evening, a trough will touch off a few light showers and mountain flurries. This will leave us with clearing skies tonight with colder temperatures.

Sunday will be partly sunny most of the day. Highs will be back into the upper 40s to low 50s. Another cold front will arrive by late afternoon with showers and mountain snow showers. This will continue into the evening before moving out late. Up to an inch accumulation is possible in the mountains, with possibly a dusting in the valleys. This could make the evening commute a little slippery in spots, but nothing significant.

Monday will have plenty of sunshine, but with the low sun angle this time of year, it won’t warm things up too quickly. Highs will be mainly in the mid 40s, with lows in the 20s. Tuesday will be warmer, with highs in the 50s. A warm front will bring showers overnight, followed by unseasonably warm air to end the month of October…
