That’s exactly what they did, jumping out to a 28-0 halftime lead and never giving the Bluffton Tigers a sniff of competitiveness on their way to a 35-7 victory.

The Jets piled up nearly 300 yards rushing and put Bluffton away early, with Matt Heiser providing 90 yards of tough running and quarterback Jamison Roach providing the alternative, gaining a game-high 117 yards with his speed. Each Jet had two rushing touchdowns in the victory.

Roach only had to attempt three passes and he completed all three of them, connecting with Braylend Reber for a 36-yard score early in the second quarter to put the Jets up 14-0. Reber also had an interception for the Jets.
