Census data places Portland among cities with highest share of remote workers

PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — A new report shows Portland is among the top 10 cities for remote work across the country. According to the data, this was also the case a decade ago.

Coworking Mag used figures from the U.S. Census Bureau to learn which American cities have experienced the most growth in remote work, and which cities have the highest percentage of employees who work from home.

Auditor’s Office refers Portland campaign finance review to Secretary of State’s Office

Austin, Tex., Raleigh, N.C., Denver, Colo. Washington D.C. and Charlotte N.C. had the highest share of remote workers in 2023, with Austin leading the way at 24.9%.
