Freshman Emily Bowers (Silver Creek, N.Y./Silver Creek) finished 18th with a time of 23:17.1 to earn second-team All-PSAC honors to lead the Gannon women’s cross country team to an 11th place finish on Saturday morning at the 2024 PSAC Women’s Cross Country Championships.
Kutztown University hosted the event at the North Campus Farm Loop Cross Country Course with 17 teams and 157 runners covering the 6K race.
Slippery Rock repeated as the PSAC team champion after posting a 70-point performance. Shippensburg totaled 88 points to finish second and outpaced East Stroudsburg (91 points), who finished third.
