POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – The Skidmore College women’s soccer team couldn’t overcome an early goal from St. Lawrence before ultimately suffering a tough 1-0 shutout defeat on the road Saturday afternoon.
Despite being blanked on the scoresheets, the Thoroughbreds (8-2-3, 3-2-2 Liberty League) didn’t lack offense as the team outshot the Saints (8-6-1, 2-4-1 Liberty League) by a commanding 17-to-6 margin, as well as generating the lone pair of corner kicks in the game…
