The Utah offense started its first game under new offensive coordinator Mike Bajakian’s system with fireworks. Quarterback Isaac Wilson found tight end Brant Kuithe for an impressive 71-yard touchdown connection, putting the Utes up 7-0.
The play which started as a simple tight end screen caught the Cougar defense off guard, and with a mix of broken tackles and impact blocking, Kuithe found himself in the open field on a b-line to the endzone.
So far, Wilson is a perfect 3-3 for 85 passing yards and a touchdown while Kuithe leads the team in receiving yards with 71 followed by Dorian SInger who has 15 yards on one reception…
