Hear tales of Irish holiday traditions at H.A.R.P. Museum

UTICA — All are welcome for tales and songs celebrating Ireland’s Samhain or Halloween tradition at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30 at the H.A.R.P. Museum at the Irish Cultural Center (ICC) of the Mohawk Valley, 623 Columbia St.

The program will present stories collected in 19th-century rural Ireland … stories and songs from a time when science wasn’t so sure of itself. Tales and tunes of banshees and fiends, musical fairies — not the nice kind — and, of course, ghosts…
