Suspect in Custody After Woman and Her Dog Found Dead in Climax, Kalamazoo County Sheriff Investigates Homicide

A somber discovery was made in the Village of Climax yesterday, where a woman and her dog were found dead. According to FOX 17, deputies from the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office were called to North Main Street, just north of Maple Street at approximately 10 p.m., where both the woman and the dog were found deceased. The case is currently being investigated as a homicide.

The authorities responded to the grisly scene and took a suspect into custody, offering a brief reassurance to the public; investigators have stated that there is no lingering threat.
