MELBOURNE — A 19-year-old Melbourne woman who was involved in a traffic crash on Interstate 95 in Melbourne was killed early Saturday after stepping out of her sedan and being struck by several other vehicles.
The deadly crash happened just after midnight Saturday as the woman drove in the southbound lanes of I-95 near the Pineda Causeway exit, Florida Highway Patrol troopers reported.
Witnesses told troopers that the unidentified woman was driving a 2010 Lexus above the speed limit while weaving in and out of traffic on the darkened highway. Troopers said that the woman’s car held three passengers from Melbourne, a 16-year-old boy, a 17-year-old girl and an 18-year-old woman…
