On the late evening of September 26th, 2024, Hurricane Helene decided to make an entrance in the Big Bend region of Florida at 11:10 pm.

Hurricane Helene ended on September 29th 2024 on Sunday. This hurricane hit six states, which included: North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, and Tennessee. There are still missing people and also quite a few deaths. The counted deaths so far is 98 people, and the counted missing people is 26. The most deaths were in Buncombe County with a total of 42 deaths. A lot of the people ended up passing away from drowning, getting stuck in their cars, and even from landslides. Hurricane Helene was said to be a category 4 storm, costing billions in property damage and hundreds in fatalities…
