Men’s Golf Rallies to Finish Second at Landmark Preview

SHAWNEE ON DELAWARE, Pa. – The Drew University men’s golf team shot the best round of the tournament on Sunday and the Rangers closed out the fall season with a runner-up finish at the Landmark Conference Fall Preview, held at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.

Drew entered Sunday’s final round in fourth place but fired a 302 and finished with a final score of 615 – just five strokes behind the University of Scranton.

Junior Elliot Parker led the charge for the Rangers, shooting a 71 – the best round of the tournament by any player for the tournament – on the strength of five birdies on Sunday. After shooting a 79 in the opening round, he catapulted from 17th to third place, finishing just five strokes behind medalist Jason Koch of Moravian and one stroke behind runner-up Chris Kilduff of Elizabethtown…
