LOXLEY, Ala. – — The Kennesaw State men’s golf team finished the fall portion of the 2024-25 schedule with a runner-up finish at the Steelwood Collegiate Invitational on Sunday.

The Owls posted a round of 15-under par 273 to finish at 28-under par 836 for the event. The 15-under par total of 273 ties the lowest team score in a round on a par 72 course in program history. It also was the lowest round shot by any team in the 15-team event. The 28-under par total of 836 ranks third in program history on par 72 course.

“There’s only pride in this team and our achievements this fall,” head coach Bryant Odom said. “What an amazing run today playing with one of the top teams in the nation (#12 Illinois) beating them head-to-head and falling just short of the team title. We are enjoying this run and looking forward to a restful, productive off season as we prepare for a strong spring schedule.”…
