Love Food has released its list of the most unusual dining experiences in each state, and Colorado’s standout is The Airplane Restaurant in Colorado Springs. Situated inside a historic Boeing KC-97 tanker, the restaurant offers diners a unique setting filled with aviation memorabilia. Built in 1953, the plane was decommissioned in 2002 and now serves as an immersive dining space where guests can sit in the plane’s original seats, accommodating up to 42 “passengers.”
