Costco Enters Electric Vehicle Charging Business with New Fast Chargers in Washington State

Costco, the largest wholesaler in the United States and the third-largest retailer globally, is cautiously venturing into the electric vehicle (EV) charging sector. Known for offering generous gas discounts, the company has installed its first pair of DC fast chargers at a newly opened warehouse in Ridgefield, Washington.

The two charging stalls, branded with the Costco logo, can power two EVs simultaneously. According to GeekWire, the charging stations are manufactured by Electric Era, a Seattle-based company.
