11-year-old boy arrested after reported deadly threat in Port St. Lucie

PORT ST. LUCIE — An 11-year-old boy was arrested on a felony charge after allegations he made a cyberthreat to kill a girl he knows through school, a Port St. Lucie Police spokesperson said Monday.

Police about 4 p.m. Friday went to the 4400 block of Southwest Babylon Street in Port St. Lucie for reports of a girl “who had received cyberthreats in a group chat from an 11-year-old male who attends the same school as she does,” said Sgt. Dominick Mesiti, police spokesperson.
