According to the USGS, the earthquake’s depth was measured at 12.6 kilometers beneath the ocean floor, causing light tremors that were weakly felt along the southern California coast. Although shaking was mild, residents in San Diego County and nearby areas reported feeling a faint, brief tremor. No injuries or damage have been reported as of now.
