Mt. Pleasant volleyball team out in semifinals

TIFFIN — The Mt. Pleasant volleyball season ended in the regional semifinals on Thursday night. The Panthers had an uphill climb against Clear Creek-Amana, falling in three sets.

The Clippers held the Panthers under 15 points in each game. CCA walked away with wins of 25-14, 25-11 and 25-14.

Alex Scott led the Panthers in the loss, collecting five kills. Addison Clark and Savannah Slobodnik finished with four each. Scott and Abby Carthey co-led the squad with 17 digs apiece, and Carthey dished out 13 assists…
