For many autumn is a favorite season. It’s pumpkins and hayrides, football and falling leaves. There’s a magnificent homage to the fall season at the focal point of a small town just south of the Michigan state line.
The town is Wakarusa, Indiana, in southern Elkhart County and 15 miles south of the Michigan state line. The pumpkin tower is at the intersection of Elkhart and Waterford Streets at the heart of the town.
