AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Monday marked the 15th day of early voting for the Nov. 5 presidential election in Georgia, and the Peach State continues to see unprecedented turnout.
As of Monday at 12:30 p.m., more than 2.73 million Georgians had voted early, shattering previous performance.
Here’s a look at the total number of ballots cast by the 15th day of early voting in past years:
- 1,199,424 in 2018.
- 1,979,963 in 2020.
- 1,640,652 in 2022.
With several days to go, Richmond County is close to matching the early voting total for 2020, according to Richmond County Board of Elections Executive Director Travis Doss. Here’s a look at the numbers.
