SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Valley Bike Share Program made its return to the city of Springfield Monday, providing residents with another way to easily get around at a low cost.

This, after the operator went out of business after the COVID-19 pandemic putting these services to an end. Jeff Goodmark with Drop Mobility, the vendor for Valley Bike says Springfield, is one of the first cities to be operating Drop Mobility’s Bikes for this year.
“I feel like this is a perfectly sized community for bike ridership to really increase in the next couple of years,” Goodmark told 22News. “To that, we are starting with 50 bikes we have another 50 we are putting out here in the next week or so.”
