A mundane dispute over the packaging of purchased ice escalated dramatically at a Seattle Shell gas station early yesterday morning, resulting in shots fired and a bullet shattering the window of a neighborhood business. The incident began around 1:45 a.m. at the gas station located at 511 South Dearborn Street, when a 21-year-old Issaquah man and a gas station clerk entered into a conflict regarding an ice container.
The altercation, with details provided by KOMO News, took a dangerous turn when the clerk locked, and then reopened the station’s doors. After the exchange, the man demonstrated an unsettling motion by lifting and releasing his coat before heading back to his vehicle.
