Masked singer-songwriter Orville Peck wrapped his Stampede Tour last night with the second of two shows at the Hollywood Palladium. Each of the concerts in Los Angeles featured special guests, with Beck taking the stage alongside Peck on Sunday and Noah Cyrus and Debbii Dawson taking part in Monday’s show.
Peck enlisting guests for the final two shows of the Stampede Tour was fitting as the tour takes its name from the country artist’s guest-filled duets album, Stampede, which came out earlier this year. Beck, Cyrus and Dawson all appeared on Stampede and performed their parts at the Palladium.
“For those who don’t know, I got to do a song with [Orville Peck] for his recent album at my house (we’re neighbors),” Beck wrote on social media after the collab. “He had asked for a while to write something that felt like Elvis in Vegas and we ended up with ‘Death Valley High,’ which turned into [a] music video and finally last night we got to perform it together for the first time.”…
