BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) — The University of Bridgeport is under lockdown on Tuesday night after shots were fired inside a campus building, according to the Bridgeport Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
Police said the incident happened at the Marina Cafeteria, a dining hall. The shooting victim has been transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary information suggests that the two parties involved knew each other, and there is no immediate threat to the campus, according to Bridgeport police. Both the suspect and the victim are not University of Bridgeport students.
