The Parents’ Voice USA celebrates it’s 15-year anniversary

The Parents’ Voice USA issued a press release earlier today celebrating another successful educational event at the Fullerton Public Library Conference Center on October 17, 2024.

In keeping with its mission, a fascinating presentation on “Genetics, Parenting and the Study of Twins” was presented by Dr. Nancy Segal, a world-renowned twin-researcher and Professor of Psychology at California State University Fullerton (CSUF). The professor has appeared with Oprah and on various morning talk shows. The audience was captivated as Dr. Segal unveiled years of research that summarized genetics of twins. The presentation ended with a robust Q & A period and a book signing.

The Parents ‘Voice USA was honored with certificates of congratulations from Congresswoman Michelle Steel, State Senator Josh Newman and Mayor Pro-Tem Fred Jung. Attendees included Mayor Dunlap, Fullerton School District Trustee’s Hilda Sugarman & Lionel Talavera along with Jeremy Davis, Assistant Superintendent and Emily McDougall. Fullerton High School Superintended Dr. McLaughlin and assistant superintendent Dr. Zener. HS Trustee’s Fawley, Buchi & Dr. Jeng. Dr. Sugarman, former President of St. Jude Medical Center. Cathy Gach President of the Rotary Club. Councilman Bruce Whitaker and his wife Linda. Dr. Stout, Fullerton Collaborative executive director. Dr. Poli President of Fullerton Host Lions and Mr. George Noor Chairman of the Board of NorKat Financial. The evening was catered by Chef Walid of Mamma Mia Fullerton, previously known as D’Vine.
