Creedmoor city officials heard some much-needed good news about the city’s financial position at their Oct. 21 work session. After a presentation from Davenport Public Finance Group, the board felt a bit more confident about the possibility of moving forward with the renovation/addition to the police department facility.
Ted Cole with Davenport said the city had about $9 million in unassigned fund balance and the fund balance is out-pacing the expenditures at this time.
