MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – This isn’t your ordinary band concert. It’s all to help Davidson High School sophomore Jadier Morejon who’s been fighting leukemia since last December. That diagnosis put a pause on J.D.’s high school career and sent shockwaves through Davidson.
“When he eventually told us we were all heartbroken,” said Davidson High School student Sagedie Diaz. “I guess he was the last person we expected it to happen because he’s always so cheerful.”
“I instantly started chemo and did that for three months, said Jadier Morejon. “The doctors told me that I still had like a little bit of cancer left 00.4% and those cells were chemo resistant.”…
