CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Two men accused of shooting and killing two other men in a drug deal turned deadly in North Charleston in 2019 are on trial as co-defendants.
Prosecutors charged Shamar Stanley and Kassiem Mitchell with the murders of Antonio Heyward, 27, and J’Quan Brown, 24.
The state prosecutors say they will prove Stanley and Mitchell committed the crime through cell phone records, video surveillance and witnesses. The state plans to present cell phone records that show Stanley and one of the victims were in contact, setting up a drug deal…
