Former Hasbro employee who was laid off asking for help paying fiancé’s medical expenses

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A 25-year Hasbro employee who was one of 100 other layoffs as part of the company’s “streamlining” has started a GoFundMe to help pay for his fiancé’s medical expenses.

John Warden was a director of design at the company before being cut in order to “empower teams to make quicker decisions and deliver innovation faster.”

He said that now he and his fiancé Meaghan Elderkin need help paying for the medication to help treat her Crohn’s Disease…
