Plantersville Man Arrested in Houston After Leading Multiple Law Enforcement Agencies in High-Speed Chase Through Several Counties

According to a press release from the Grimes County Sheriff’s Department, “On Tuesday, October 29th, 2024, at 3:30 p.m., a Grimes County Sheriff’s Office Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a silver Toyota RAV 4 for an expired registration at CR 304 and SH 249 in Plantersville.

After refusing to exit the vehicle, the driver began to evade police. The driver entered SH 249 exceeding speeds of 100 mph and passing multiple vehicles in no passing zones.
